Company that provides Rendering farm services, do you know any?
Hello all, We are looking for a reliable company that provides rendering farm services without an expensive tag prices. Anywhere in the world. We need to render full HD frames in 3dsMax 2009, 64-bit, vray 1.5 SP2.
Do you know any? If you had experience dealing with them, please recommend and advice the issues and challenges you faced. we have a tied deadline and can't afford mistakes.
Please help.

My limited experience of ranch computing has been pretty good. Plenty of material to get you started and fairly good support.

I can't recommend any of these personally, but i suggest you start with the farm's nearest you to cut down on the time it takes to upload the large scene files! Best of luck.

All advertise how fast they are and how many computers work on your render at the same time... but, scene files tend to get big and it all must go over the internet to the farm. Most of them do have high bandwidth connections to allow for such transfers but do you? is your upload speed fast enough or will it take hours to upload - you really should add that up to the actual render times.
This was the most frustrating issue i had with render farm - and most times it's not up to them but rather your account limits, ISP filters and general internet slow routing.
So my recommendation is don't wait until you must render over a farm - choose one (that i hope others here will recommend) and test it until you know it will deliver when the pressure is on. - Ronen Bekerman on 25/1/10
